Cleaning Guide

Steel & Powder-Coated Surfaces

Wipe down with a soft dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth with plain water, then dry immediately. Never use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or scouring pads — they will scratch the powder-coat finish.

Acrylic Surfaces

Use a soft microfiber cloth only. For fingerprints or smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a dedicated acrylic cleaner. Never use glass cleaner (contains ammonia, which damages acrylic), paper towels, or rough fabrics.

Tempered Glass

Clean with a soft cloth and standard glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads. For coffee tables, use coasters and felt-bottomed accessories to prevent micro-scratches on the surface.

Vinyl Graphics

Gently wipe with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Do not scrub vinyl decals or use solvents — they can lift or fade the graphics. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure to maintain colour vibrancy.

Installation

Wall-Mounted Shelves

All spoiler shelves come with mounting hardware and a step-by-step installation guide. Use the included wall anchors for drywall or plaster walls. For concrete or brick walls, use appropriate masonry fixings (not included). Ensure the shelf is level before tightening all screws.

Deconstructed Watch Art

Each piece is a freestanding tabletop display — simply place it on any flat surface like a desk, shelf, or console table. No mounting or assembly required. For the best visual effect, position the piece at eye level with soft ambient lighting to highlight the layered acrylic depth. Avoid placing near edges where it could be knocked over.

Coffee Tables & Furniture

Assembly instructions are included with every furniture piece. Glass tops are shipped separately and should be placed carefully onto the base once assembled. We recommend two people for assembly and glass placement.

Care

Care by Material

Laser-Cut Steel (Spoiler Shelves)

Powder-coated steel is highly durable. Dust regularly and wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid moisture accumulation — if liquid gets on the surface, dry it promptly. The powder coating resists scratches, but avoid impacts from sharp or heavy objects.

Crystal-Clear Acrylic (Watch Art)

Acrylic is scratch-sensitive. Always use microfiber cloths. Never stack pieces directly against each other. Store upright with protective material between layers if you need to move them. Keep away from extreme heat sources.

PLA+ (ApexGrid Pieces)

PLA+ is lightweight and durable but can deform under extreme heat (above 60°C / 140°F). Keep away from direct heat sources, radiators, and prolonged direct sunlight. Clean with a dry cloth only.

Stainless Steel (Lamps & Furniture)

Wipe with a soft cloth in the direction of the brushed grain. For fingerprints, use a slightly damp cloth. Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant but avoid prolonged exposure to saltwater or harsh chemicals.

Common Questions

Can I use my spoiler shelf to hold heavy items?

Our OG Spoiler Shelves are made from laser-cut GI steel and can hold a reasonable amount of weight — watches, small collectibles, keys, and similar items. However, they are designed primarily as display pieces. Do not exceed the weight guidelines included with your product.

My acrylic piece has a scratch — can it be fixed?

Minor surface scratches on acrylic can often be buffed out with a dedicated acrylic polish and a soft cloth. For deeper scratches, contact us — we may be able to provide a replacement panel.

How do I replace a light bulb in my Apex Form Lamp?

The lamp uses a standard E14 bulb. Unplug the lamp, allow it to cool, then carefully remove the shade and replace the bulb. Detailed instructions are included with the product. We recommend using warm white (2700K–3000K) LED bulbs for the best ambient effect.

Is the vinyl on my ApexGrid piece replaceable?

Vinyl graphics are hand-applied during manufacturing and are not designed to be user-replaceable. If your vinyl becomes damaged, contact us to discuss repair or replacement options.
